This year we had wanted to do things a little differently. We don't celebrate a secular "easter" but once again, want to keep everything focused on Christ. On the other hand, we hate to have the kids miss out on some of the fun secular activities. We took Shannons idea this year and while we intended to make it bigger, life's unfortunate circumstances got in the way for at least the next couple days. Hopefully I will be able to get more organized that way we can do more "springtime" activities this coming weekend (after all the nasty rain!) At any rate, here is a pic coloring some of their "springtime" eggs :)

Hey this is sort of the opposite of what the general public does for Christian-themed holidays like Christmas...they turn things into "winter break" "holiday trees" "holiday lights," etc. Except you're taking the pagan Easter and turning it non-pagan.
